WSTA Implements Minor Changes

WSTA is enhancing its service for passengers living on the Southside of the city, specifically on or near Cole Road. WSTA is expanding route 29 to include Utah, Electric, Dize and Susan beginning March 16. This enhancement will allow passengers on Cole Road, beyond Dahlia, to safely catch the bus.

Additionally, WSTA will reverse the outbound trip on Route 10.  The bus will now turn left off University Parkway onto Hanes Mill Road in front of Aldi’s.  It will turn right at the stoplight, enabling passengers going to the Employment Security Commission/JobLink to get on and off the bus at our newly installed bus shelter on Hanes Mill.  The bus will turn right onto University, left on Summit Square, and left on Hanes Mill, ending at Walmart.  On the inbound trip, the bus will turn left on University Parkway, and proceed on its inbound trip; it will not stop at the ESC/JobLink.

Finally, look for most of the schedules and route numbers for the Night Service Routes to look different.  Night Service Routes, 1, 4, 17, 20, 23, & 29 have changed.  Route 11 did not change.  The new Night Service Route numbers will be 111, 444, 1717, 2020, 2323, & 2929.  Please remember, only the Night Service Route numbers have changed, not the routes.
