Cost of a Ride
Fares
and Transfers
Fares for one ride trips are $1.00 per trip with
a complimentary transfer that is valid for connecting trips only. Transfers
must be requested at the point of boarding the bus and will expire after
90 minutes of your first trip. Expired transfers will not be accepted
or replaced by the bus operator.
- Please have exact fare when boarding the buses; drivers do not carry cash.
- Children smaller than the fare box ride for free.

Passes
Winston-Salem Transit Authority offers
a variety of pass options to suit your transportation needs. WSTA sells
ten-ride, monthly and one-ride passes. Elderly and disabled citizens
may purchase a ten ride pass at a reduced rate.
Passes can be purchased at the following locations:
Clark Campbell Transportation Center
100 West 5th Street
Winston-Salem, NC 27101-3811
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 11:00pm
Saturday 6:00am - 11:30pm
Cash only
- One-Ride passes can be purchased by agencies (minimum 100 passes). For more information about One-Ride passes call the Administrative office at 336-727-2648.

Ride Pass
Not sold to the general public. 
Full-Fare Ten-Ride
Covers ten (10) one-way trips, transfers can be requested upon boarding
the bus.
Adult and children - $10.00
Full-Fare
Monthly
Good for one calendar month of unlimited rides. No transfer
pass is required with this pass.
WSTA's most cost-effective pass - $30.00
Elderly / Disabled
Citizen Pass
Covers ten (10) one-way trips
for seniors and persons with disabilities. Must show proof of eligibility;
Medicare card or reduced fare identification cards issued by Winston-Salem
Transit Authority. To apply for reduced fare, please complete and return
the Half-Fare Bus Services Eligibility Application. Transfers can be requested
upon boarding the bus.
Elderly and / or Disabled reduced fare ten ride - $5.00
Elderly / Disabled
Half-Fare Monthly
Good for one calendar month of
unlimited rides. No transfer pass is required with this pass.
WSTA's most cost-effective pass for elderly and / or disabled passengers - $15.00
Park and Shuttle
Monthly Pass
This pass can only be purchased
at the administrative office. Good for Park and Shuttle North and West
Lots.
Placards must be visible in cars - $20.00
